I spent every Monday night for three years with Jamison and the others in our cohort at Bethel Sem. What a kind gentle soul who loved the Lord deeply. I remember hearing about Japan. I remember when we went on a break and he came back with his shiny new wedding band. But reflecting this past week what I remember most is that Jamison took the time to try to understand where you were coming from. He would humbly ask questions about your experience. He was so smart I thought maybe he wanted to go on and be a professor but his heart was a missionary’s heart for people. I grieve the loss of this young family. I rejoice that I had the privilege of knowing Jamison. I praise God for the impact the Pals had while they were here and even more for the ongoing impact that their lives and story will continue to have.
